AVAM is a testament to the power of the untrained eye and mind, focusing entirely on the work of those who are self-taught, throwing away the rules that schools and society put upon them. The museum is broken up into four different areas for art. The first is the main building, which houses all the major exhibits, which change every few months so that the experience is always fresh.
